MEASURED BY YOU. FOLDED BY HAND.

Tuck Box Template Generator

Create a printable tuck box from your card stack’s measured width, height, and thickness. Add clearance, check the paper fit, and download a PDF or SVG.

Your measurements

Sample data · measure your own complete stack.

Measurement schematic: across the face ↔ width; along the face ↕ height; through the complete stack ↔ thickness. Include sleeves and dividers.

Clearance is the total increase per dimension, not per side. Sample allowances are not tested recommendations.

ACTUAL-SIZE GEOMETRY

Complete dieline fits the selected sheet and margins. Preview is fitted to screen. Exports preserve millimeters without scaling. Confirm printer margins and print at 100%.

Complete dieline: 182.00 × 162.50 mm

A4: 210 × 297 mm · Margin on each edge: 5 mm

Usable area: 200.00 × 287.00 mm

Current orientation (0°): fits · Other orientation: fits

SVG includes the complete actual-size dieline even when it exceeds this paper. PDF uses the selected sheet, margin and rotation. No material-thickness compensation is applied.

01

Measure the complete stack

Include sleeves, dividers and everything the box will hold. Width is across the card face; height is along it; thickness is through the entire stack. Measure outermost edges, without estimating thickness from card count.

Measured dimensions describe the contents. Total clearance is added once to each dimension, not once per side. Nominal target inside dimensions = measured dimensions + total clearance. They are not guaranteed finished inside dimensions.

The complete dieline dimensions include all panels, tongues, dust flaps and the glue tab. No material-thickness compensation is applied.

02

Print at actual size

Choose A4 or US Letter to match your real sheet. Check both orientations and the usable area after subtracting margins on all sides. When neither orientation fits, the current single-sheet PDF cannot be exported. Do not reduce your measured stack dimensions.

Print at Actual size / 100%, with Fit to page turned off. Match the file paper size. Before cutting, measure a straight body-panel edge: its width should equal the nominal target width and its height the nominal target height. Check both directions and the full outline for clipping.

An SVG preserves the complete actual-size dieline; it does not provide tiling or make an undersized sheet sufficient. Screen zoom does not change exported dimensions.

Assembly schematic for this dieline

Numbered schematic, not a photograph. Cut solid lines, score dashed lines; the shaded area is the glue tab. This diagram uses the export geometry.

1 Glue tab · 2 Broad panel A · 3 Narrow side A · 4 Broad panel B · 5 Narrow side B (inside seam) · 6 Top closure and tongue · 7 Bottom closure and tongue · 8 Dust flaps

  1. Print at 100%; measure known body width and height and check the complete outline before cutting.
  2. Cut solid lines and score dashed lines, including both tongue hinges. Keep fold lines connected.
  3. Dry-wrap panels 2, 3, 4 and 5 into a tube. Glue tab 1 inside the free edge of narrow side 5. Glue only this seam and let it cure.
  4. At the bottom, fold both dust flaps 8 inward, cover with closure 7, and tuck its tongue inside opposite broad panel 2.
  5. Load the measured contents. Fold top dust flaps 8 inward, cover with closure 6, and tuck its tongue inside opposite broad panel 4. Check loading, closing and reopening.

These structure instructions are not a physical test result. Material thickness, sample clearance and assembled fit still require a real print test.

Sample settings and questions

Reset sample restores measured 63 × 88 × 18 mm, total clearance 2 mm in each dimension, millimeters, A4, 5 mm margins and no rotation. This is an editable software example, not a measured or tested finished box.

No physical record of the stack, sleeves, paper stock or thickness, print scale or assembly outcome is available. Trial print and assemble before making copies. Default clearances are not validated recommendations.

Why is PDF blocked but SVG available? Valid geometry may exceed both paper orientations. SVG still contains the complete unscaled dieline. Invalid dimensions block both formats.
